On September 26, 2020, an international conference "Distance learning: new global challenges" was held at the Tashkent State Economic University in cooperation with the University of Education Indonesia and the Eurasian National University of Kazakhstan. The conference was opened by the vice-rector for research and innovation of the Tashkent State Economic University, candidate of economic sciences, professor Akhmedzhanov Karimjon Bakidzhanovich.

On September 3, a video connection took place between the state economic universities of Yekaterinburg and Tashkent. An online meeting of rectors, vice-rectors, heads of institutes and departments of universities was dedicated to the Day of Knowledge and Independence Day of Uzbekistan.
